Louie Harris Confirmed for the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic
TTB Sport is thrilled to announce that British padel star Louie Harris will be competing at the highly anticipated Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic, taking place from 14-15 May at The Hurlingham Club. Renowned as one of the UK’s finest padel events, the celebrity pro-am tournament promises to be an exciting showcase of talent, featuring elite padel professionals, sports legends, and celebrities.
A key figure in the Great Britain Padel Team, Cardiff-born Harris has rapidly gained recognition for his dynamic playing style, athleticism, and relentless drive. His inclusion in the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic has generated significant buzz, as fans eagerly anticipate his performances on the court.
"I'm thrilled to be part of this year’s Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic,” said Harris, who is currently ranked fourth in Great Britain. “It's becoming one of the biggest UK events in the sport, and competing against some of the top players is a fantastic opportunity.
"I’m looking forward to the challenge and can’t wait to get started. Playing in front of a full crowd at home is always special. It will be fascinating to see the mix of pro matches and how the celebrities handle the pressure!"
After missing last year’s tournament due to commitments in the United States, Harris is eager to make his mark at The Hurlingham Club this May.
"I heard last year’s event was fantastic, so I can’t wait to play. Having Miguel Lamperti join the line-up is a huge addition to an already stellar roster."
Beyond the competition, Harris is proud to support the event’s charitable mission. This year, all money raised will benefit the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, including support for The Hurlingham Club Foundation’s girls' racquets project, Empower. The partnership between TTB Sport and Laureus Sport for Good highlights a shared commitment to using sport as a vehicle for social change.
Last year, Laureus Sport for Good enabled more than 100,000 girls worldwide to enjoy the benefits of sport and trained over 4,000 female coaches to support them. Through this initiative, the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic aims to contribute to The Hurlingham Club Foundation’s vision of fostering a thriving and connected community.
The tournament’s co-founder, Charlie Grave, expressed his enthusiasm for Harris’s participation:
"Having watched Louie recently, I know that our guests and The Hurlingham Club members are in for a real treat.
“We are building an exceptional line-up for 2025. Miguel Lamperti leads the charge, but we will also see Aimee Gibson, the first British player to make the world top 100, and now Louie, taking to the courts at The Hurlingham Club from 14-15 May.”
With Harris joining an already elite roster, the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic is set to be one of the most exciting editions yet. Fans won’t want to miss the action as some of the biggest names in padel descend on London’s premier padel event.
