The Mirabeau Endless Lunch to be one of the stars of The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic

The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic can today confirm that it will be staging an unforgettable Mirabeau Endless Lunch at this year’s invitation-only event at The Hurlingham Club on 15 & 16 May.

Established last summer by Maison Mirabeau, the Endless Lunch showcases one of the most vibrant French rosé brands at play. Competitors, invited guests and Hurlingham Club members will enjoy a stylish, languid lunch experience, where old and new friends come together to share great rosé, delectable food and fun conversation.

Maison Mirabeau brings its inspiring founder story to the renowned Hurlingham Club, participating at this sporting and social event during two key days of the spring season. After years of dreaming, founders Jeany and Stephen made the bold decision to exchange the leafy suburbs of South London for the blue skies and sunshine of Provence in 2009. With three young children in tow, they took a chance and leapt into the unknown.

Armed with big ambitions to make a world-class rosé wine, and willing to challenge established wisdom, they founded Maison Mirabeau and haven’t looked back.

The Maison Mirabeau portfolio has since won numerous awards and earned acclaim from some of the world’s toughest wine and spirits critics. But Mirabeau is much more than an accomplished rosé wine brand, it also plays the role of Provençal tastemaker transmitting this Southern French art de vivre to a wide global audience. The Endless lunch is the perfect way to bring these memorable moments to life outside Provence.

“The collaboration at the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic marks a significant partnership for both brands. Against the picturesque backdrop of The Hurlingham Club, Maison Mirabeau is excited to set the stage for this unique padel event.”

Stephen Cronk, Maison Mirabeau CEO, said:

“You can picture the scene now in the surroundings of the world-famous Hurlingham Club - bottles of Rosé are being poured, laughter’s filling the air and it’s all about taking time to savour the moment. I just hope the padel players will be able to tear themselves away from the Mirabeau Endless Lunch to get back on the court!”

Part of Jeany and Stephen’s mission is to introduce more people to “a bottle of the prettiest pale pink from the south of France” so their pivotal position at The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic will fulfil that objective to an exclusive audience.

Sustainability is also an important aspect for Maison Mirabeau – who recently achieved B Corp status and who are thought leaders in the wine industry in terms of Net Zero, regenerative farming and sustainable packaging.

A key part of The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic is the partnership with Laureus Sport for Good a global charity that supports programmes and organisations around the world that use the power of sport to help young people overcome violence, discrimination, and inequality. Mirabeau will be contributing to the fundraising by supplying bottles for the charity auction. Laureus ambassadors Michael Vaughan, Andriy Shevchenko and Bryan Habana will be playing in the tournament.

The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic event is co-founded by investment, advisory and marketing group TTB Sport Capital alongside ex-IMG event executive Charlie Grave, with confirmed players for the pro-am at The Hurlingham Clubvincluding English cricketing legend Sir Andrew Strauss as well as Vaughan, Shevchenko and Habana.

Nick Hoyle, Founding Partner at TTB Sport Capital said: “When Charlie and I started working on the concept, Mirabeau were one of the first brands we talked to. They immediately understood what we were building, and we knew they would become an instrumental partner to the event’s success.

"With fewer than 40 days to go to the start of The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic we are delighted to be able to confirm they are bringing their Endless Lunch format as one of the centrepieces of the event. For anyone who has been lucky enough to attend a Mirabeau Endless Lunch in the past they know how unforgettable they are.”

A hybrid of tennis and squash, padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, attracting major investments at both elite and grassroots levels from all over the world. Its popularity is rooted in its accessible and fun nature, and it is being adopted by players of all levels around the globe.
