Evelyn Partners ramps up partnership with Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic at The Hurlingham Club
TTB Sport is delighted to confirm that Evelyn Partners, one of the UK’s leading wealth managers which is entrusted with managing £63 billion of client money, has extended its partnership with The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic sports event held at London’s prestigious The Hurlingham Club in May.
After becoming the tournament’s official wealth management partner for its inaugural event in 2024, Evelyn Partners has strengthened its commitment to The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic – one of the world’s finest celebrity pro-am padel contests – with a multi-year tie-up.
As one of the fastest-growing racket sports in the UK and globally, padel embodies the wealth manager’s mission to encourage its clients to consider ‘what’s next?’ – not only for themselves and their own wellbeing, but also their money and the world as whole.
Invented in Mexico in the 1960s, padel, sometimes referred to as padel tennis, is played in doubles on an enclosed court about the third of the size of regular tennis court. With its own balls, rackets, set-up and rules, the game is a unique blend of other racket sports, such as tennis, squash and badminton.
Under the partnership, Evelyn Partners will not only have a prominent presence at the Padel Classic but will also build a programme for clients surrounding the event and support community initiatives spearheaded by Laureus Sport for Good, a global charitable organisation and The Hurlingham Club Foundation, which provides community action in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Nick Hoyle, Founding Partner of TTB Sport said: “We are thrilled to welcome Evelyn Partners as a key partner of the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic. Their exceptional reputation in wealth management, dedication to human-led excellence and belief in the future of the sport, will bring an added layer of prestige to the event.”
Running on 14-15 May on the padel courts at The Hurlingham Club, one of the UK’s most prestigious private member’s clubs, corporate partners and industry guests will rub shoulders with a stellar line-up of sportspeople, celebrities and padel professionals.
Celebrity players already scheduled to play alongside padel pros include Judy Murray, a tennis coach and mother of Scottish tennis star Andy Murray, and former England cricket captains Michael Vaughan and Sir Andrew Strauss.
Andrew Middleton, Group Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, Evelyn Partners, commented: “We’re really proud to be partnering with the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic and supporting one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. We believe Padel is a great articulation of “what’s next” in sport and look forward to continuing our support of this event for a second year. Since last year’s event we have been inspired by the work Laureus Sport for Good and The Hurlingham Foundation have done to open up padel to girls in underprivileged communities and inspire “what’s next” through sport.”
The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic was founded by TTB Sport alongside ex-IMG executive Charlie Grave.
